LCFRN Mission Statement
To strengthen & support the ability of families to protect, nurture, educate & support the development of their children so that each child’s full potential is achieved.

What is the FRN?
Family Resource Networks (FRNs) are local coalitions of people working to better meet the needs and improve services for children and families in their communities. West Virginia’s Family Resource Networks are defined in WV State Code under §49-6C-2.

The Big Picture
WV State Code defines a Family Resource Network (FRN) as “a local community organization charged with service coordination, needs and resource assessment, planning, community mobilization and evaluation.” The purpose of the FRN is to facilitate planning and develop solutions within the community to improve the system of services for children and families.
